If you're not aware, Baseball-Reference.com allows people to buy sponsorships for player pages on their site. Most of the time, these sponsorships are purchased for legitimate reasons, such as promoting an ad or a website. Other times, the sponsorship powers are used for good, such as when somebody bought a sponsorship for John Lackey's page under the name of infamous American traitor Benedict Arnold. Now that is the kind of idea I think we can all get on board with, so with that in mind, here are some other such sponsorships that I'd like to see.
The ad may now be gone, but the screen capture lives on forever.
Third base was a major problem for the Angels in 2010, but after failing to upgrade at third in the off-season, the Halos hot corner situation is once again not looking so hot.
Izturis or Callaspo? Callaspo or Izturis? Does it really even matter?

He might be the most unpopular Angel of his generation, but for better or worse, it seems Jeff Mathis will be the Angels' primary catcher in 2011. Will this be the year Mathis finally gets his act together or will Angel fans spend the year stumping for the call up of prospect Hank Conger?

Really, Mike Scioscia? We're really going to have to do this? Some of the names have changed but the situation remains the same as we now get set to embark on the fifth consecutive year of having Jeff Mathis, and his many flaws, rammed down our throat at catcher despite having a seemingly superior option waiting in the wings. Will common sense ever prevail when it comes to Mike Scioscia doling out playing time to his catchers or are we doomed to do this dance forever?
Mathis, why can't Scioscia quit you?
