no commentsHaving trouble filling out your bracket? Well, it is a little late for me to help now, but I can offer some belated advice that should help any Angel fan draw up a bracket that will at least please their Angel fan sensibilities (Win your pool? Yeah, not so much.)

You didn't really think I was going to show you my real bracket did you?
Daily Links for the LA Angels including Downs out a month with a broken toe, Morales still hoping to be ready for Opening Day, Trumbo suffers a groin injury and much more...
no commentsSo Scott Downs somehow managed to break his toe playing with his kids (note to Scott, kicking cinder blocks is a bad idea for a game). This little injury can't be making the Angels organization happy, but there are certain members of the team who are no doubt viewing it as a WINNING opportunity.

Breaking your toe while playing with your kids is definitely not WINNING.
The Angels finally got a full season out of Howie Kendrick in 2010, but they still haven't gotten that much-promised batting crown (or anything remotely close to it) out of him. Can this be the year Kendrick finally breaks out or will he prove to be nothing more than a stopgap until the Angels can find an upgrade?

*The MWaH projections are simply my best guess based off my own personal opinion and research
Daily Links for the LA Angels including Halos use the long ball to defeat the Padres, seven sent down to the minors, Morales is close to being put on the disabled list and much more...
no commentsI think we all knew this day was coming, but perhaps not quite so soon. After looking decidedly unimpressive in a "B" game on Monday, the "please reserve judgment" sign has now been turned off on Scott Kazmir's spring struggles. Some of us are still on the fence as to what to make of his pre-season performance though. Who better than to debate Kazmir's future than our old friends, Good and Evil.

Dare we still harbor hope for Kazmir, or should we just abandon ship now?
