The August 14th, 2013 edition of daily news for the Los Angeles Angels including former teammate defends Pujols, Hanson's demotion another Dipoto failure and much more...

The Monkey Says: It is a failure, but I don't think it is part of the dysfunction. Dipoto took a risk on Hanson and, like all the other risks he took this winter, it came out snake eyes. The Monkey Says: He should be fine for today but the Angels will still probably think it is OK to carry a three-man be
The Monkey Says: At least the team has a plan to keep him in the lineup and isn't going to bury him. I haven't seen enough of him to say whether or not he is good enough to stay at second, but that is where he would have the most value long-term.
The Monkey Says: So say we all.
